I MISS: my apartment, my furniture, my car, personal space
I FEAR: that i wont like my new life in nyc, and then i will have to totally rethink everything i ever wanted.
I HEAR: emily running water in the sink and listening to weezer
I WONDER: if i will be able to stuff everything back into my small suitcase on saturday
I REGRET: nothing/lots of things
I AM NOT: ready yet
I SING: in the shower, in the car, whenever there is music, whenever i am alone
I CRY: when i get very homesick or very frustrated
I AM NOT ALWAYS: strong
I MAKE WITH MY HANDS: mostly just mistakes
I WRITE: directions and subway stops on tiny post-its, find them weeks later all over my purse
I CONFUSE: myself?
I NEED: a badass manhattan apartment, money
I SHOULD: stop anwering my phone
I START: panicking and i have trouble breathing
I FINISH: my job search within a week and a half of graduating from nyu. not fucking bad.

| oh my gosh i got tagged! this has never happened to me before, as i clearly dont give a rat's ass about my xanga. but i'm bored, so i'll play your game.
- 10 years ago (1995): I had just started at Harwood Junior High! I was a sevie... short for seventh grader... oh my we were clever. I stopped hanging out with a lot of my friends from elementary and started hanging out with Amanda English, Courtney Carpenter, and Rana Aldridge (the bad influences, except for Courtney), as well as some other kids from band (the good influences). I had all seven periods with Curtis Miller. I was listening to Alanis Morissette and the Presidents of the United States of America. I wore a vest in my school picture.
- 5 years ago (2000): I had just started my senior year of high school. I was working at On The Border as a host, but it was before i started fooling around with the entire waitstaff, save one unfortunate night with a guy named Jeremy over the summer. This was the summer with the infamous yearbook camp incident. I was there with the whole staff which was synonymous with my clique, and i met the grandson of the founder of the camp- and we went to make out in his room and my friends (who had the room next door kept knocking! They finally shoved a note under the door that said "we'll stop the knocking when you stop the booty rocking." It's funny now, but back then i wanted to KILL them.
- Yesterday: Another fabulous day of back2backing at jmp, worked out, grabbed dinner from taco bell (thus cancelling the workout, but whatever), bought ambitious groceries, wtached the daily show, went out to pub fiction with chrissy and then met up with like 20 cool rice kids at flying saucer. Got home at 2:30. good night.
Five snacks I enjoy: Cheddar cheese. peanut m&ms. oranges. tortilla chips and salsa verde (i'll count those as 2.)
- 5 songs I know all the words to: lots. how about bands i know all the words of all the songs? Flickerstick, Dixie Chicks, Fiona Apple, Maroon 5, Postal Service.
- 5 things I’d do with 100 million dollars: Buy my mom a nice house, pay for my sister's college, travel all over the world, buy myself an audi tt roadster and all the clothes, bags and shoes a girl could ever want, give lots to humanitarian charities.
- 5 places I would run away to: Barcelona, Paris, Mallorca, Bora Bora, Greece
- 5 things I would never wear: really pink lipstick, anything that's seen a bedazzler, acid wash, a water bra, horizontal stripes
- 5 TV shows that I love: My So-Called Life, Sex and the City, the Daily Show, Project Runway, Cash in the Attic (its a sick pleasure... damn you bbc america)
- 5 Bad habits: smoking, hitting snooze repeatedly, not cleaning up after i cook, not returning phone calls, forgetting to floss
- 5 biggest joys: they pretty much all revolve around my friends... hangout out, talking on the phone, looking at pictures, remembering good times.
- 5 of my favorite toys: my guitar, photo-editing software, make-up (especially my bright BLUE eyeliner, jennifer), my foreman grill, other people's emotions (ha ha).
- 4 people I’m tagging: fuck it, i dont know... the first four people who read this, if there is anyone.
